The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Case Western Reserve University invites applications for one postdoc position in Environmental Engineering, starting Summer or Fall of 2021. Dr. Zhang’s research focuses on the fate and transformation of emerging organic contaminants in natural and engineered environments and advance water and wastewater treatment technologies based on physicochemical approaches. Applicants should have earned or are expecting a Ph.D. degree in environmental science or engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or engineering, or a related field. We’re particularly interested in applicants who are experts on the anaerobic degradation of organic contaminants. Experience with coding and data analytics is a plus.
