Zimeng Wang is a professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering at Fudan University. He received a B.S. from Fudan University in 2009, and a Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2013, followed by postdoctoral research at Stanford University. He was a faculty member at Louisiana State University before returning China. At Fudan, he teaches soil chemistry courses and directs an environmental geochemistry program. With an expertise on mineral-water interfaces, he is interested in diverse aspects of aquatic geochemical processes, from fundamental aqueous speciation of heavy metals and radionuclides to pollution characterization and remediation at field sites.
