The Board of Director of Pennsylvania Section American Water Works Association adopted a special recognition resolution to record and recognize contributions of Dr. Yuefeng Xie on May 6, 2009. The resolution recognized the special efforts and leadership of Dr. Xie in protecting water resources and maintaining water quality and in unselfishly sharing his knowledge by offering solutions to today's environmental challenges. The award was presented at the Section's Annual Conference in Pittsburgh, PA.
