Dr. Yuefeng Xie delivered the keynote presentation, DBP Removal and Operator Training for Small Systems, at the 13th Canadian National Drinking Water Conference on October 5^th in Quebec City, Canada.  Dr. Xie presented a cost effective treatment technology, in-tank aeration, for trihalomethane compliance, especially for small water systems.  Dr. Xie also talked about several chapters of his book in progress, Drinker’s Guide to Water Treatment.      

On June 11^th to 14^th, Dr. Xie attended the inaugural Jasper Innovation Forum, hosted by the Alberta Research Council, in Jasper National Park, Canada.    Forum participates met for three days to consider challenges related to water, food and energy, and the innovative directions needed to address those issues.
