Yuefeng Xie, Professor of Environmental Engineering at Capital College, The Pennsylvania State University, recently published a book “Disinfection By-products in Drinking Water: Occurrence, formation, health effects, and control” with American Chemical Society. Co-edited with Tanju Karanfil, Stuart Krasner, and Paul Westerhoff, this book represents some of the latest research efforts at understanding various important disinfection byproduct-related issues. This book will be of interests to researchers, scientists, engineers, toxicologists, epidemiologists and regulators. In 2003, Dr. Xie wrote a book in the same subject area, “Disinfection Byproducts in Drinking Water: Formation, analysis and control”, with CRC Press.
