Dr. Yuefeng Xie has been promoted to Professor of Environmental Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University, effective July 1, 2007. Dr. Xie graduated with B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from Tsinghua University and started his teaching career at Penn State Harrisburg in 1995. His research interests include water treatment processes (especially in disinfection byproduct analysis and control), wastewater reuse, and ship ballast water treatment.
